Our situation, wanted to refinance our current mortgage, but wasn't sure if we'd still have 80/20 LTV required to refinance, other than that both borrowers have excellent credit, and have the income and reserves (and lack of debit) to do the refinance. Worked through Appraisal and application with Mike with the understanding that if we were too far off 80/20 we couldn't complete the deal with him, fortunately came in just over 80/20, so had to put a little extra into closing, but not enough to kill the deal. Mike Politzer was fantastic every step of the way for our refi. He was extremely responsive via email and phone and his in depth knowledge of the subtleties of underwriting, interest rates and closing costs trade offs made the process easy. I always felt confident that he had our mutual best in interest in mind. During the loan process the interest rate went up and down before we locked, and he allowed us to float down the rate after the initial lock.
